OAKLAND — Saturday’s two-vehicle crash on Herrington Manor Road that injured two people remains under investigation by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office.
Eric Allen Dumire, 23, of Mountain Lake Park was flown to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center and Laurie Jean Boogher, 54, of Friendsville was taken to Garrett Memorial Hospital.
No information was available about the extent of injuries or medical conditions.
At about 11 a.m., a 2006 Hyundai sedan traveling south on Herrington Manor Road traveled out of control and skidded sideways into the path of a Subaru Outback operated by Boogher.
Southern Garrett Rescue Squad, Maryland State Police medevac helicopter Trooper 5 and Oakland Volunteer Fire Company also responded.
