WESTERNPORT — A citizen complaint led to the arrest of a Westernport man Monday on drunken driving and other charges, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
Ronald Lewis, 54, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m., after police received a complaint of a man who was possibly intoxicated and sleeping behind the wheel of a pickup truck parked on Walnut Street.
Deputies located the vehicle and arrested Lewis on drunken driving charges, driving with license privileges suspended and revoked, and taking and driving a vehicle without the consent of the owner.
Lewis was issued citations and released, pending trial.
The sheriff’s office thanked the person who reported the incident and is asking that person to contact the office at 301-777-1585.
