— KEYSER, W.Va. — A Hampshire County woman was arrested Wednesday by Keyser Police in connection with the alleged theft and illegal use of a credit card.
Katrina L. Hockensmith, 29, of Points was charged with fraudulent use of a credit card after police located her Wednesday evening at a Keyser residence.
Following a bond hearing, Hockensmith remained jailed Thursday at the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail in Augusta on $3,600 bond.
Police said Hockensmith allegedly used a Keyser man’s credit card to purchase $600 worth of items from a Keyser business that included flooring and a flat-screen television. The victim mistakenly left the credit card in an automatic teller machine at a Keyser bank, police said.
