SOMERSET, Pa. — A Somerset contractor has been charged with home improvement fraud and theft by deception by Pennsylvania State Police.
Scot Emeigh, 51, who owns Emeco Contracting, is accused of accepting more than $70,000 for construction on a residence in Jennerstown after he was hired for the project in July. The victim told police that very little work has been done.
Emeigh was released on a nonmonetary bond, police said.
