CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland man was arrested Saturday and charged with multiple counts, including burglary and resisting arrest after he jumped from a roof and ran from authorities, according to the Cumberland Police Department.
Responding to a breaking and entering call in the 300 block of Grand Avenue, police were met by a woman at the residence who said that no other persons were in the residence. However, neighbors told police a man had just climbed out a window and was on the roof.
Donald LeeāMichaels, 39, who was wanted on a parole retake warrant, was taken into custody after his attempt to flee. He was held on a $7,500 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center on charges of fourth-degree burglary, resisting, and disorderly conduct.
