CUMBERLAND — Cumberland Police arrested Somers McKinley, 24, Tuesday on charges stemming from a Jan. 13 domestic complaint at a South Lee Street residence.
McKinley was charged with second-degree assault and reckless endangerment and was released on his personal recognizance, pending trial in district court.
Police said the arrest was made following investigation of an alleged assault in which a female victim was grabbed by the throat. The victim apparently did not require medical treatment.
