CUMBERLAND — Cumberland Police officers spotted and caught Kevin McKenzie, 23, in a South End foot chase after an assault incident on Grand Avenue Saturday.
A male victim told police McKenzie, Cumberland, threw him to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face.
McKenzie fled from officers after they spotted him on Industrial Boulevard.
After catching McKenzie, officers reported they found him in possession of two packets of suboxone, marijuana, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia.
McKenzie was jailed on a bond of $7,500, but on Sunday was not listed as an inmate on the Allegany County Detention Center website.
