CUMBERLAND — An alleged assault in the first block of West Clement Street early Tuesday led to the arrest of 19-year-old Brittany Shell, Cumberland Police said.
Shell was charged with two counts of second-degree assault after police investigated the 1:03 a.m. domestic assault complaint.
Shell was released after posting $5,000 bond for her pre-trial release.
Police said Shell allegedly struck a juvenile victim in the head with a cell phone and then kicked an adult in the stomach who had intervened in the incident.
The victims reportedly did not require medical attention.
