CUMBERLAND — A man was being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $15,000 bond after being arrested Saturday on a criminal warrant stemming from an altercation on First Street.
Nathan Shell was taken into custody for his involvement in an incident on Nov. 17, when he was approached by a subject about a necklace he was wearing while walking on First Street, according to the Cumberland Police Department.
An argument ensued and Shell allegedly assaulted the subject, then broke a beer bottle and chased the subject home, police said.
The victim apparently sustained an injury to his eye and was treated at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
