CUMBERLAND — An alleged domestic assault of a woman in a Decatur Street apartment Tuesday morning led to the arrest of a Cumberland man, according to Cumberland Police.
Aaron Soules, 23, was charged with second-degree assault and jailed later on $10,000 bond set by a district court commissioner.
Police said that Soules allegedly punched and choked the victim following an argument. The victim apparently did not require medical treatment.
Soules left the apartment after the 9:30 a.m., incident but was arrested when he returned there later in the day, police said.
