MCHENRY — A reward of $2,500 is being offered by the owner of a bolt-action rifle that was stolen from a vehicle on Gravel Hill Road in Frostburg in December, Maryland State Police said.
Sometime between Dec. 1 and 4, thieves entered a vehicle parked at a private residence in the 600 block of Gravel Hill Road.
After entering the vehicle, thieves stole a 1981-1982 Browning 25-06 bolt-action rifle that was equipped with a Leapers scope. The barrel of the firearm and the scope are blue in color.

Police said the victim is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the recovery of the firearm and arrest of those responsible for the theft.
