MOUNT SAVAGE — A Slabtown Road resident awakened Tuesday morning to find that his flat-screen television, wallet, car keys and car had been stolen, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
Entry was made through a basement door of the residence, according to the victim’s complaint filed at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A 40-inch Samsung flat-screen television was stolen along with a single-barreled, 12-gauge shotgun, a Mount Savage high school class ring, wallet and car keys.
Police said the victim’s four-door Hyundai Accent that was parked outside the residence was also stolen.
The perpetrator(s) also disabled the resident’s telephone and outside lighting.
The incident remains under investigation and police are seeking information concerning “three guys in dark clothing” who were seen walking in the area at about 10:30 p.m. Monday.
