CUMBERLAND — A 22-year-old city man was arrested Friday on charges stemming from allegations that he engaged in sexual acts with a 12-year-old girl in 2006, ac-cording to the C3I Unit.
Daniel Gilbert Hott was charged in an arrest warrant with second- and third-degree sex offense and perverted practice before being jailed at the Allegany County Detention Center on $45,000 bond.
The charges stemmed from a joint investigation of the allegations by C3I and Child Protective Services. Investigators reportedly obtained information during the investigation that supported the allegations.
