Tri-State beats Clarksburg 7-4

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Josh Logsdon and Jimmy Barrett combined for four hits and five RBIs, and Brian Powell tossed eight effective innings to lead Tri-State past Clarksburg.

The Titans swept the series when Clarksburg forfeited game two on Sunday.

Logsdon and Barrett had a double and single each to lead an eight-hit attack. Logsdon knocked in three runs and Barrett drove in two.

Matt Wright added two singles and scored two runs, and Justin Munson doubled. Powell struck out six in eight innings for the win.

Joey Tata doubled and scored two runs while Pat Robinette hit an RBI single for Clarksburg.

The Red Sox, who beat Mt. Storm 9-1 in a play-in game on Saturday, finished the year with a 6-19 overall record. Mt. Storm was 2-23.
