MCHENRY - Justin Jenkins homered in both games to help power Tri-State to a sweep of Oakland at Garrett College Saturday.
In the opener, Jenkins hit a two-run homer and a single as Tri-State opened up an early 6-0 lead.
Matt Wright hit three singles and drove in two runs, Brian Powell had a triple, single and two RBIs and Jimmy Barrett a two-run double for Tri-State.
Bill Davis got the win, scattering eight hits and striking out five.
Cory Bosley smacked a double and two singles, Joey Wilt doubled, singled and knocked in two runs and Billy Reams doubled for Oakland.
In the second game, Jenkins hit a three-run homer and a double, scored three runs and knocked in four for Tri-State.
Jimmy Barrett also drove in four runs with a two-run homer and a two-run double. D.L. Waugerman doubled twice.
Powell got the win, allowing eight hits and striking out eight.
Wilt and Danny Flores singled twice for Oakland.
