Oakland takes two from Mt. Storm, 11-8 and 9-1

PETERSBURG, W.Va. - Oakland scored four runs in the eighth inning of the opener, and breezed through the nitecap in sweeping Mt. Storm on Saturday.

In the opener, J. Bosley and Tory Poholsky had run-scoring hits in the deciding eighth inning for the Oaks, who put together two hits and five bases on balls to score four runs in the inning to break a 7-7 tie.

Poholsky finished with three hits and four RBIs for Oakland. Cory Bosley got the win, pitching the first seven innings and allowing seven hit and three earned runs.

Lockhart had three hits for Mt. Storm.

In the second game, Altobello allowed just one hit over six innings in getting the win.

Bosley and Reams had two hits to lead a 14-hit attack.
