— Emily Stallings, 10, Mount Savage, recently caught a 41-inch striped bass while fishing with her father, Ben Stallings, on his boat the Texas T near Solomon’s Island. Emily hooked and reeled in the fish without assistance. She will receive a citation fish award from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.
