ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — A volunteer committee is beginning a statewide assessment of Maryland’s public trails.
The Department of Natural Resources Trails Committee is a 15-member panel that includes representatives from trail user groups around the state.
Its mission is to recommend investments, goals and objectives for trails open to both motorized and non-motorized recreation.
