Interfaith pantry thanks those who made food drive a success

The Interfaith Community Pantry would like to thank all those who contributed in any way with the food drive held for the pantry at the Homecoming Game at Greenway Avenue Stadium on Nov. 3.

Especially, we would like to recognize Rich Cornwell of WTBO and Tim Martin of WFRB for sponsoring and publicizing this drive prior to the Homecoming Game and those pantry volunteers who manned the stations.

A big “Thank You” to MSG John Pownall, along with other members of the National Guard, who helped with the collection and made a patriotic presence.

We also want to acknowledge the Cumberland Times-News for printing the letter to inform the patrons of the food drive and of course all the patrons who attended the game and contributed several hundred items of food and $1,429.66 in cash donations.

These contributions will help us fill the needs of the many people who are referred to the pantry each week.

Since the need for support is with us throughout the year, we are truly grateful to those who continually support the pantry.

  • Why are there no answers to these questions?

We currently have the most corrupt administration in the history of the country. Every day more and more lies come from the Obama administration.
