The letter from Kathleen Wood of Annapolis, published in the Cumberland Times-News on Jan. 13 (“She doesn’t look disabled, but appearances can be deceiving”), touched me deeply.
I also have Lupus and can relate to and agree with her. Although I do not know Ms. Wood, she described the symptoms of the painful and extremely debilitating condition very accurately.
