Mount Savage will always remember the things he did

I am writing you this letter with great appreciation for Mr. Earl Pope, a wonderfully ambitious resident of the Mount Savage community. Mr. Pope has done so many things in our small town to make it a better place.

When my siblings and I were young, a man knocked on our door. My father immediately yelled for my younger sister, Tara. She became instantly nervous, thought she must have been in big trouble.

To her surprise Mr. Pope came over to thank our parents for raising such thoughtful children. Mr. Pope was blown away by the mere fact that a child acknowledged what he was doing around town; it brought him to tears.

To this day my family and I have grown up watching him work extremely hard. Our family would also like to thank all the other wonderful individuals who have given their time making our community beautiful. Your kindness will forever be appreciated.
