You can title this letter “What if.” It is a response to the letter, “He should let those pray who choose to do so; it’s needed” (Oct. 19 Times-News).
What if the name Buddha or any other name of other faith, were mentioned in the commission meeting as form of prayer? Would Christians raise a big stink?
Maybe that is why people get unset when Christians bring the name Jesus in a public prayer.
