PATTERSON CREEK, W.Va. — Michael L. Sears II, 26, of Patterson Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at home.
Born Oct. 14, 1986, he was the son of Nona D. Sears and Michael L. Sears. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry P. Sears.
Michael loved to race motorcycles, go hunting and fishing, being on the farm and building houses with his dad. His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Brittney Sears-Hott, of Green Gables; two daughters, Makala Sears and Nevaeh Sears; his grandmother, Joan P. Sears, of Patterson Creek, W.Va.; grandfather Michael B. Tipton, of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; grandmaw, JoAnn Tipton Yost, of Cumberland and sister Chantel N. Sears, of Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
