MARGARET A. “MOLLY” BEVAN [La Vale]

LAVALE — Margaret Ann “Molly” Bevan, 82, of LaVale, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born July 1, 1930, in Frackville, Pa., Mrs. Bevan was the daughter of the late Paul English and Florence (Neibauer) English.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, John, Larry, and Howard English; and two sisters, Florence Reeves and Alice Tregea.

A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Frackville, Pa., Molly retired from Lions Manor Nursing Home as a medical records secretary, worked at the Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania during the Vietnamese/Cambodian Refugee Settlement Program, and was previously employed with Bell Telephone Company. Upon retirement, she worked as a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt. Molly was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Molly is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Bevan; her sons, Robert Bevan and wife, Joyce, Myerstown, Pa., Steve Bevan and wife, Dee, Frostburg, Louis “Rusty” Bevan, Cumberland, and David Bevan and wife, Elizabeth, Crofton; and her daughter, Marla de Gomar and husband, Robert, Harrisburg, Pa. She also leaves behind her brother, Robert English and wife, Linda, Polk County, Fla.; her sisters, Stacia Piersol, Warren, Mich., and Paula Conrad, Kendallville, Ind.; her sister-in-law, Helen English, Camp Hill, Pa.; as well as her grandchildren, Tiffany, Patrick, Matthew, Kathleen, and Herbert; her great grandson, Xander; and many nieces and nephews she dearly loved.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Alison Tregea, Tina of Personal Home Services, and the Hospice Staff for their dedication and loving care.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Molly’s Name to the Hope Lodge, 636 W. Lexington St., Baltimore, MD 21201.

The Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) is assisting the family with the arrangements.
