SALEM, S.C. — Charles William McKee, 81, husband of Elizabeth Brand McKee, of 6 Crest Drive, Salem, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Oconee Medical Center.
A native of West Virginia, Mr. McKee was the son of the late James Earl and Mary Smith McKee. He was a graduate of West Virginia University, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and also served in the Navy. Mr. McKee was a Horticulturist for Maryland State Highways and life member of the LaVale Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his wife, Mr. McKee is survived by a son, James McKee of Salem; daughters, Ellen McAdams of Rockville, and Elizabeth McKee of Portland, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
