CUMBERLAND — Shirley Lee Johnson, 75, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 20, 1938, in Keyser, W.Va., Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Arthur C. Westfall and Elvina S. (Shingledecker) Westfall. She was also preceded in death by a son, Stanley “Wiffer” O. Johnson Jr.; and a great-granddaughter, Haley Jaden Shook.
A homemaker, Shirley is survived by her husband of 57 years, Stanley O. Johnson Sr.; her daughters, Vicky L. Pattison and friend, James Portmess and Linda K. Beeseck and husband, Kain; her sons, Steven A. Johnson and William D. Johnson and friend, Mary Jo Dorsey, all of Cumberland; her brother, William Richard Westfall, Spokane, Wash.; as well as nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.
Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
