HYNDMAN, Pa. — Joshua D. “Turtle” Gordon, 30, of Hyndman, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 13, 1982, in Hagerstown, he was a son of Mark and Lorelei (Emerick) Gordon. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Rose Marie Emerick; William and Jessie Gordon.
He is survived by his mother, Lorelei Gordon, Hyndman; father, Mark Gordon and wife Cheryl, Cumberland; brothers, Terrence and Joseph Gordon, Jeffery Corbin Jr. and Zachary and Brady Logsdon all of Hyndman; grandfather, Terrence Emerick and friend, Elizabeth, Mount Savage; aunts and uncles, Kathy Jewell, Hedges-ville, Nancy Boyce and husband Scott, Millersville, James Emerick and wife Tammy, Mount Savage; special great-uncle and aunt, William and Bonnie Emerick, Mount Savage; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Josh worked at Upright Fence Company, was a member of Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Beverly Roscoe officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
