LAVALE — Margaret “Jane” Foreman, 72, of LaVale, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at her residence.
Born Oct. 20, 1940 in Rawlings, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Hester Gordon. She was also preceded in death by her beloved brother, Joe Gordon.
Jane was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and taking care of her animals. Above all, she cherished being with her family. After retiring from ATK, she bravely lived with a chronic illness for 12 years. Jane would not allow her inability to speak to hinder the joy of watching her grandchildren grow. She was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Ray Foreman; two sons, Jeff Foreman and wife Betty, Butch Foreman and wife Stacy; two daughters, Angie Fulton and fiancée Rob Rice, Jennifer Lashbaugh and husband Bill; two brothers, Pat Gordon, and Leo Gordon and wife Lyddy; three sisters, Sally Puffenbarger, Alice Collins and husband Leo, Wanda Westfall and husband Victor; eight grandchildren Jessica Sch-midt, Jacob Foreman, Emily Foreman, Vincent Foreman, Lexi Foreman, Kade Foreman, Macy Lashbaugh; one great-grandchild, John Schmidt; and numerous nieces and nep-hews.
Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home,P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com), Cresaptown on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 from 5 until 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will immediately follow with Fr. Greg Chervanek, O.F.M., Cap. officiating.
A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
