RIDGELEY, W.Va — Delores Ann Truitt, 66, of Ridgeley, passed away on Jan. 31, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Oct. 11, 1946 in Portsmouth, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George D. Williams and Esther (Howard) Lambert. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Smith; great-granddaughter Mylee Grace Ferguson; and a brother Ronald Williams.
Delores was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. She was owner and operator of Kramer’s Deli. Delores loved cooking, teaching, directing music, and above all spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Ralph Truitt; two daughters, Sandi (Truitt) Huff and husband Bob of Portsmouth and Amy-Michelle (Truitt) Grubb and husband Andrew of Cumberland; sisters, Melba Combs, Candace Bailey and husband John, Carol Russell and husband Arnold, Janie Sellars and husband Ron; brothers, Larry Paul Williams and wife Margret, Donnie Williams and wife Joyce; half-sisters, Juanita Pope, Bernita Hoffman and husband Jack, Donna Powell and husband Carl; half-brothers, Larry Dean Williams and wife Ava, Norman Williams, Melvin Williams and wife Lisa; grandchildren. Rob Huff and wife Jessica, Ashley Ferguson and husband Miles, Amanda Yeroshefsky and husband Kyle, Andrew Smith and wife Sara, Ethan Grubb, Elijah Grubb, Eden Grubb, Judah Grubb; great-grandchildren, Aaron Yeroshefsky, Gracie Nicole Ferguson, Miles Landon Ferguson, Karlee Belle Ferguson, Caleb Yeroshefsky, Heaven Renee Smith; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com), Cresaptown, on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wes Beahm officiating.
Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
