RAWLINGS — Richard Jerry Mackley, 60, of Placid Lane, Rawlings, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, where he had been a resident.
Born Feb. 13, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Richard and Nellie (Shugars) Mackley.
Richard was a 1971 graduate of Bruce High School. During his younger years he worked at the former Hi Rock Drive-in theater, Rawlings.
He leaves behind his sister, Dianna Buckley and husband Randy of Rawlings.
Friends and family will be received at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Walter Lancaster officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
