WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. — Lula Marie Kerr, 82, of Winter Springs, Fla., formerly of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Born March 31, 1930, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Kline) Twigg. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard S. Kerr; two sisters, Nettie Cramer and Mary Sine; and one brother, Richard Twigg.
Mrs. Kerr was a homemaker and a Lutheran by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her great grandchildren who were very special to “Mommom”. All of her family and friends felt so welcome at Mommom’s house and it brought her great joy to prepare meals for everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Kerr, Sr., of Winter Springs; a daughter, Donna J. Beem; a son, Daniel J. Kerr, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Jenny Terrill, John Beem, Jr., Dan Kerr, Beth Klienhenz, Richella Swindell, Linda Leasure, Richard Kerr; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Felten; and a brother, Edward Twigg.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., (www.scarpellifh.com) on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
