ACCIDENT — Arlene Mildred Georg, 85, of Accident, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
Born Sept. 8, 1927 in Accident, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Emma (Miller) Georg. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hobert, Ervin, Earl and Fred Georg.
Miss Georg worked in food service for the Garrett County Community Action in Flowery Vale Senior Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a Sunday school teacher for 50 years.
She is survived by three nephews, Dean, Wayne and Gary Georg, all of Accident; and two nieces, Carolyn Toledo, Middletown, and Gail Hill, Beltsville.
Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Highway, Accident (McHenry), on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Zion Lutheran Church on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Riebau officiating. Friends may call at the church on hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Zion Cemetery.
