HYNDMAN, Pa. — Eileen Elva Morgart, 93, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at the Lion’s Center where she had been a resident for four years.
Born Aug. 25, 1919, in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late William P. and Nellie E. (Mason) Oliver. She was also preceded in death by a husband, Robert I. Burkett, whom she married on March 18, 1942. He was killed in action during World War II in Luxembourg, Germany on Nov. 23, 1944. She then married, Raymond J. Morgart, Jan. 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1999. Brothers, William and Foster Oliver also precede her in death.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ and Faith Community Church, Hyndman.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch and the Rev. Terry Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Cooks Mills Cemetery, Hyndman.
