KEYSER, W.Va. — Ralph Osmond Albright Jr., 85, of Keyser, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 28, 1927, in Roaring Springs, Pa., Mr. Albright Jr., was the son of the late Ralph O. Albright Sr. and Elda (Heuston) Albright. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Albright; and a son, Ralph Albright III.
Ralph retired from the City of Petersburg, Va., as the assistant City Engineer. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Parish and attended Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Cumberland. He volunteered with the Robert E. Lee Boy Scout Council.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Tracy Levine and husband, Mark, Battle Ground, Wash. and Tamela Rankin and husband, David, Keyser; and his sister, Dorla Rutter and husband, Harold, Fort Mill, S.C. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Noah and Melissa Levine, Vancouver, Wash., Carly Levine, Portland, Ore., Andrew, Ian, and Katheryn Rankin, Keyser; and a special friend, Olivia Brockwell, Saint Simons Island, Ga.
A memorial service will be conducted at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Marsha Garrett officiating.
A memorial service will also be held at the Faith Lutheran Parish in Prince George, Va., at a later date.
The family requests the memorial contributions be made to the Faith Lutheran Parish, Post Office Box 172, Prince George, VA 23875.
