FROSTBURG — Kenneth G. O'Rourke, 68, of Frostburg, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cumberland on Feb. 4, 1944, he was the son of the late John O'Rourke and Eleanor (Festerman) O'Rourke. He was preceded in death by brothers, John O'Rourke and Glenn O' Rourke.
Kenny had been manager at the Frostburg Elks, Frostburg Eagles, and the Frostburg Moose, and worked at ACS. He loved to cook.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene (Henry) O' Rourke; a son, Kent O'Rourke of Frostburg; sister, Patricia Williams and husband Lowell of Moorefield; special nieces, Beverly See and Karen Ours; and also a number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a memorial service following at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George M. Harpold officiating.
