HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Edward Gene Frazee, 79, of Hollywood, formerly of Friendsville, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at his residence.
Born April 3, 1933, in Friendsville, he was the son of the late Foster and Norma (Sisler) Frazee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (Sisler) Frazee; a son, Timothy Frazee; a sister, Patricia Frantz; and a brother, Donald Frazee.
Mr. Frazee was owner/operator of Interstate Hardwoods and a member of the Muddy Creek Fishing Club, Cuzzart, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife, Alpha Joyce (Hastings) Frazee; three sons, Barry Frazee and wife, Debra and Michael McCarty and wife, Betty, all of Friendsville and Gary McCarty and wife, Tammy, Mount Morris, Pa.; two daughters, Karen Myers and husband, Tom, Swanton, Mary Lou Walls and husband, Tom, Evansville, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Sisler, Friendsville; a step-son, Greg Scott, Nashville, Tenn.; a step-daughter, Tonya Vernon and husband, Bryan, McHenry; mother-in-law, Marie Harrison, Lewisburg, Tenn.; and 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., Accident (McHenry), on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tom Walls officiating.
Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
