FROSTBURG — Paul E. Myers, 83, of Frostburg, passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2012 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home, where he had resided since March 2010.
He is survived by his daughter, Cherie (Fred) Hadra, Stevens Point, Wis.; and his son, John Wayne (Tess) Myers, Washington Court House, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Myers, Frostburg, Judy Myers, Eckhart, Marilyn and Bob Stevenson, Frostburg, Carole and Jim Mills, Charlotte, N.C.; brother-in law, Milton Pfaff, Baltimore. Also surviving him are four grandchildren, Jennifer (Russ) Prentice, Grover Beach, Calif., Fred Hadra III, Hillsdale, Mich., Benjamin and Gillian Myers, both of Washington Court House. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
The family will receive friends at the Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at Welsh Memorial Baptist Church on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George Harpold officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Eckhart Cemetery.
