CUMBERLAND — Michael “Mike” Thomas McWhirter, 62, of Cumberland, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
A committal service will be conducted in the chapel at Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at 1 p.m. Military honors will be accorded by Chapter 172, Viet Nam Veterans of America.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the WMHS Hospice, 1050 W. Industrial Boulevard, Cumberland, MD 21502 or to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
