LOUISVILLE, Ohio — Harry Franklin Heath, 85, of Louisville, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at the Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio.
Born July 26, 1927, in Rowlesburg, W.Va., he was the son of the late Carl and Olive (Moran) Heath.
Mr. Heath was a graduate of Rowlesburg High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946-1954.
Mr. Heath retired with 42 years of service as an electrician with CSX. He was also a 55 year member of the IBEW.
Mr. Heath had belonged to Rawlings United Methodist Church. He was a life-time member of Cresaptown Aerie 2883, F.O.E.; American Legion Post 548, Louisville, and V.F.W. Post 7490, Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Joan (Spiker) Heath; four children, Carolyn Hull and husband David, of Malvern, Ohio, Alan Kimble and wife Beverly, of Dellroy, Ohio, Janet Whittet, of Albuquerque, N.M. and Suzanne Grimes and husband John, of The Villages, Fla.; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Officers and member of Cresaptown Aerie 2882, F.O.E., will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Monday at noon.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Merle Correll officiating.
Interment will be in Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap, where military honors will be accorded by Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard.
