CORRIGANVILLE — Genevieve Lucile Poorbaugh, 90, of Corriganville, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at her home.
Born July 20, 1922, in Morgantown, W.Va., Mrs. Poorbaugh was the daughter of the late William Earl Peaslee and Velma Audra (Goff) Peaslee. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Paul Albert Poorbaugh, Jan. 8, 2006.
Genevieve was a retired Cardiac Laboratory Technician at the WMHS Sacred Heart Campus Hospital. She was a member of the Saint John's United Church of Christ and the Sacred Heart Auxiliary.
Genevieve is survived by her son, William Paul Poorbaugh and wife, Karen, Corriganville; and her daughter, Paula Ann Lucas, Annapolis. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tracy Mac-pherson and husband, Doug, Jennifer Phillips and husband, Chad and William A. Poorbaugh and wife, Michele; as well as her great-grandchildren, Zane, Nadia, Ireland, and Blaise Poorbaugh and Charlie and Connor Phillips.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Tomislav T. Dosch officiating.
Interment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the WMHS Home Hospice Care, 1050 West Industrial Boulevard, Cumberland, MD 21502.
