MADISONVILLE, Tenn. — Virginia L. Moreland, 93, of Madisonville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at the East Tennessee Health Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late William W. Moreland Sr. and Hazel B. (Hite) Moreland. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William W. Moreland Jr.
Born in Cumberland, she was a graduate 1937 graduate of Fort Hill High School and attended Catherman’s Business School. Virginia retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire & Rubber Co.
She is survived by a niece, Charmaine K. Williams; special friends, Maria Taylor, Cindy Freichs, and Doris Matthews, all of Madisonville, and Debra Smith, Salisbury.
Graveside service and interment will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Park on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.
