GRANTSVILLE — Lovona Elaine (Bittinger) Miller, 70, of Grantsville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Western Maryland Health System, Cumberland.
Born Feb. 12, 1943, in Grantsville, she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Etheline Lucretia (Bittinger) Bittinger. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Linda Kay Bittinger.
“Lonnie” as she was known at work, retired as a payroll clerk for Will O’the Wisp, McHenry. She was Pentecostal by faith.
Surviving are one son, David Paul Miller; one daughter, Melissa Elaine Frantz and husband Eric; two grandchildren, whom she adored, Kylie Elaine Frantz and Connor James Frantz; one brother, Gary Aaron Bittinger, all of Grantsville and numerous sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Pastor David L. Marsh II officiating.
Interment will be in the Trinity Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Northern Garrett County Rescue Squad or the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department.
