ELKRIDGE — On Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, Leo Charles Vanderhout, beloved husband of Sharon L. Vanderhout passed away. Loving father of Monica Powell and her husband William Powell Sr., and the late Travis Vanderhout; beloved grandfather of Danielle Powell and William Powell Jr., brother of the late Floyd Vanderhout, Mary Cosgrove, Arie Vanderhout and Francis Vanderhout; also surviving loving family and friends.
He retired as a journeyman diesel mechanic for UPS serving for over 28 years.
He was an avid fisherman; he also enjoyed trap shooting and canoeing with his buddies.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home, Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at from noon until 1 p.m., where a memorial service will begin at 1 p.m.
Interment service will be private.
