FROSTBURG — Anthony “Tony” Vincent Milcetich, 79, of Frostburg, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born Aug. 3, 1933, in Leetonia, Ohio, he was the son of the late Franjo Anthony and Franka Ann (Andrincic) Milcetich. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, John Frank, Frank Anthony, and Joseph Matijie and his sister, Mary Helen McCoy.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mildred Ann (Arnold); his children, Patricia Santini, of Washingtonville, Ohio, Mark and spouse Tyna, of Charleston, S.C., Michael and spouse Vance, of Honolulu, Hawaii, Renee Bone and spouse James, of Frostburg, and Brian and spouse Denise, of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; grandchildren, Jayme Santini, Jason Santini, Shanna Stephens and spouse Tod, Jenna Greiner and spouse Frank, Colton Brown, Ryan Bone, Matthew Sachs and Austin Milcetich; and great-grandchildren, Frankie Greiner and Olive Greiner. Also surviving is one sister, Frances Ann Exten, of Leetonia.
Mr. Milcetich retired from Kaiser Refractories in Zihlman and later worked at Campbell’s Chevrolet, Shaffer Ford and Spoerl’s Pontiac/Cadillac. He was a member of the Frostburg Elk’s and Frostburg Moose. He was also a member of Salem United Church of Christ in Frostburg.
He loved spending time with friends and family and his grandchildren were the highlight of his life.
Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dwayne Hay officiating.
Interment will be in the Greenville Union Cemetery in Pocahontas, Pa.
