KEYSER, W.Va. — Erma Lee Armentrout, 96, of Keyser, W.Va., a resident of Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Key-ser.
Born on Aug. 13, 1916 at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late James Kelly and Grace M. (VanMeter) William-son. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin K. Armentrout on May 30, 1979; two brothers, Harold “Butch” and John Williamson and two sisters, Eloise Dawson and Irene Loar.
Mrs. Armentrout was Methodist by faith and enjoyed crafting and reading.
Surviving are her daughter, Joann Oss and husband George K. of Palmyra, Va.; one sister, Clara Beatty, of Keyser; three grandchildren, Susan K. Schuler, Pamela Jo Gallagher and Michael A. Oss; three great-grandchildren, Melissa Mincemoyer and Brianna and Amanda Schuler and three step great-grandchildren, Christopher and Dustin Benton and Keri Gallagher.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Donna Leatherman officiating.
Interment will be in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
