STEWARTSTOWN, Pa. — Paul “Duffy” Edward Wolfe, Jr., 65, formerly of Oakland, and residing in Stewartstown, Pa., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at his home.
Born March 28, 1947, in Oakland, Mr. Wolfe was the son of the late Paul Edward Wolfe, Sr., and Emmalee (Liller) Kerns. He was also preceded in death by his ex-wife and friend: Susan E. Wolfe.
A United States Marine Corps Veteran during Vietnam, Paul was a member of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 172; the V.F.W. 10077 Deer Park; and the American Legion Post 71, Oakland.
Paul is survived by his stepmother, Betty D. Vance, Windsor, Pa.; his sons, David A. Wolfe, Fawn Grove, Pa., and Paul A. Wolfe; his granddaughter, Samantha Wolfe; his sisters, Susan Royal and husband, Steven, Roanoke, Va., and Barbara Givler, Stewartstown, Pa.; his half-sister, Janice E. Judy and husband, Jim, Eglon, W.Va; and a step-sister, Elizabeth J. Anderson, Red Lion, Pa.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Garrett County Memorial Gardens Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at 11 a.m.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the American Legion Post 71, Oakland, and the V.F.W. 10077, Deer Park.
