SHAFFER, W.Va. — Leona Madeline Cameron Cumiskey born June 29, 1918, in Shaffer, W.Va., died peacefully Dec. 7, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Virginia Cameron, of Cumberland and her beloved husband, Bill. Leona was a beautiful woman, a loving mother and a wonderful cook and baker, who loved her husband and children with all of her heart.
Leona is survived by her sister, Wanda Keller, of Cumberland; her sons, Pat Cumiskey, of Augusta, Ga., Tim Cumiskey and wife Georgianna, of Frisco, Texas and Dan Cumiskey, of Richardson, Texas; daughter Maureen Chavers and husband Ron, of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren Sean Cumiskey and wife Jeannie, of Atlanta, Ga., Peter Cumiskey, of Athens, Ga., Erin and Brooke Cumiskey, of Blue Ridge, Texas and lots of nieces and nephews around the country.
Memorial services are pending.
