MOUNT STORM — Ronald Clare Carr, 71, of Mount Storm, passed away on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 7, 1941 in Richwood, W.Va. He lived a private life with his wife of 30 years, Connie Paugh Carr of Mount Storm.
After graduating from Petersburg High School he served in the United States Army from June 1959 until June 1962.
Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Coffee Carr; father, Clare Richard Carr; and one nephew, Richard C. Moomau.
In addition to his wife Mr. Carr is survived by three sons, Ron Carr of Shippensburg, Pa., Rodney Carr and wife, Sherrie, of Shippensburg, and Robert Carr and wife, Misty, and their children Catylin and Christopher of Mount Storm. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Carr Moomau of Petersburg, W.Va. and her five children; and two sisters-in-law, Judy Atchison and husband Robert of Weston, W.Va. and Theresa Johanning and husband Bill of Weatherford, Okla.
Upon the request of the deceased there will be no visitation, or memorial service. His body has been donated to WVU Medical Center for scientific research.
