CUMBERLAND — Frances LeeAnn Callis, 91, of Cumberland, passed away on Jan. 27, 2012, at her home. 
Born April 15, 1921, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Hazel (Liller) Dowling. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Callis, in 1994; a sister, Elaine; a brother Matthew; half-brother, Ralph Albright; a daughter Mary Lee, a son, Daniel, and a son-in-law, Steven Goss.
Mrs. Callis was retired from the Celanese Corporation and the Holiday Inn of Cumberland. 
Surviving are a son, Stephen Callis and wife Amy, of Cumberland; three daughters Carolyn Metz and husband Lewis, Barbara Metz and husband Douglas, and Nancy Goss, all of Cumberland; twelve grandchildren, Melea Metz, Toby Goss, Doug Metz Jr., Nicole Spencer, Aaron Keech, Carole Twigg, Brian Metz, Amanda Blank, Zachary Blank, Travis Callis, Bruce Metz, Bob Metz, Sheila Cecil, Frankie Bridges, Lenny Bridges, and Beth Churchman; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
Following the visitation, a graveside service will be conducted at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2:15 p.m. with the Rev. Mike Leedom officiating.  
Pallbearers will be grandsons Doug Metz, Aaron Keech, Toby Goss, Brian Metz, Travis Callis, and Zachary Blank.
