NEW OXFORD, Pa. — Marion Mable DeVault, 90, of New Oxford, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at Cross Keys Village, the Brethren Home in New Oxford.
Born Sept. 9, 1922 in Carlos, she was the daughter of the late George and Mildred Fairgrieve Fatkin. She was the wife of the late Richard H. DeVault who died April 24, 2011. They had been married for 68 years.
She had worked as a Statistician for Lockheed Martin Corporation for 30 years. She was a member of the Freedom Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Wirt and son-in-law, Fred; sister, Christine Buskirk; brother, Earl Fatkin and wife Betsy. Surviving in addition to above are granddaughters, Deanna Adair, Dawn Fryzek, Karen Brownlow; great- grandchildren, Patrick, Alyssa, Anna, Becca, and Hailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brother George Fatkin Jr.; and brother-in-law, Harold Buskirk.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. till time of service at noon at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg.
Internment will follow in Lake View Memorial Park.
